Sneaton Castle in Whitby, North Yorkshire is without a doubt one of my favourite wedding venues. As a wedding photographer, I have had the opportunity to visit many venues over the years, but the charm and beauty of Sneaton Castle is unmatched. The chapel where Mr. and Mrs. Vasey tied the knot is absolutely stunning, with a roof that is hard to put into words – it truly needs to be seen to be believed. The castle’s gardens also provided the perfect backdrop for the couple’s wedding photos. The abundance of flowers in the garden added pops of colour to the images, and the vine-covered veranda was a favourite spot of mine to photograph the couple. The castle’s well-appointed bridal suite was also a delight to work in, providing a spacious and comfortable area for the bridal party to get ready. Overall, Sneaton Castle is a fantastic venue for weddings and I hope to have the opportunity to photograph many more weddings there in the future.
Get ready to be swept away by the breathtaking beauty of Mr and Mrs Watson’s North Yorkshire countryside wedding. From the stunning St Andrew Church in Newton Kyme to the rustic charm of the farm meadow reception, every detail was carefully crafted to make this special day unforgettable. With guests from all over the world, including the USA and Australia, this was truly a celebration of love and diversity. As their Yorkshire wedding photographer, I had the privilege of capturing the unique beauty of this couple’s special day, and it felt like spending the day with old friends. From lost wedding rings to a very special ring bearer in the form of Mr and Mrs Watson’s beloved dog, Hector, the day was full of fun and memorable moments. The signing waitresses kept the energy high and the guests entertained, while the golden hour provided the perfect light for stunning portraits. The day ended with a signature hero shot featuring champagne and the newlyweds’ joy and excitement. Don’t miss the chance to read more about this stunning North Yorkshire countryside wedding!
am and Sarah’s wedding at Ryedale Folk Museum was a breathtaking and intimate celebration of their love. With less than 20 guests in attendance, the ceremony was held in the Tudor manor house, adding a sense of history and intimacy to the event. The beautiful spring weather and stunning outdoor setting made for the perfect backdrop for photos, capturing the couple’s love against the charming historical buildings and gardens. One of the highlights of the day was recreating a photo from Sam’s childhood, where he pumped water for the village pump, now with him pumping water for his new bride. This touching moment paid homage to his past while celebrating his future with Sarah. The entire day was filled with love and joy, making it an unforgettable occasion. If you’re looking for a unique and historic wedding venue, be sure to check out Ryedale Folk Museum for an unforgettable celebration of love.
