Amy & Craig’s wedding was an enchanting, intimate affair set in a village and venue that had stolen their hearts – the charming Helmsley.
I still vividly recall my first conversation with Amy & Craig just before they made the decision to book me. To my delight, I discovered they reside in the same village in Wakefield that I call home. In jest, I playfully mentioned that I could practically share a taxi with some of their relatives.
During our initial phone conversation, I enjoy asking clients about their choice of wedding venue. When I inquired about Amy & Craig’s decision, their response resonated with me. They expressed their deep appreciation for the warm and accommodating staff at The Feathers Hotel, a detail that left a lasting impression on me.
Fast forward to the wedding day, and I have to say, Amy & Craig couldn’t have been more accurate in their assessment. The staff at The Feathers Hotel proved to be nothing short of extraordinary, going above and beyond to assist not only the bride and groom but also their guests, as well as myself. One might assume this level of service would be a given at every venue, but regrettably, that’s not always the case. So, kudos to The Feathers for setting a commendable standard!
A Dream Venue in Helmsley
Nestled in the heart of Helmsley, The Feathers Hotel provided the idyllic setting for Amy and Craig’s special day. Surrounded by the town’s natural beauty, it was evident that Amy & Craig were keen to capture the essence of the village. So, when it came time for the bride and groom’s photoshoot, we ventured into the heart of Helmsley.
Amy and Craig, who had recently become parents, chose to include their precious little one in our photographic journey through Helmsley. It was a decision that added a delightful touch of charm to the photographs we captured.
Amy and Craig are new parents, so their little bundle of joy joined us on out photoshoot around Helmsley. I think having the baby with us really added charm to the photographs we captured.
