Craig & Sophie’s wedding marked my first time photographing at The Woodman Inn, and I must say, I was utterly blown away by this enchanting venue. Nestled in a picturesque valley in Thunder Bridge—a delightful one-road village within the Kirklees District of West Yorkshire (think Last of the Summer Wine country)—The Woodman Inn exudes absolute charm.

But let’s get to the heart of it: The Woodman Inn, set against the backdrop of Thunder Bridge, is nothing short of breathtaking!

This venue ranks among the most stunning I’ve encountered. It feels as though Huddersfield hides a treasure trove of such lovely wedding venues—often lesser-known gems in the wedding venue circuit.

About the Venue:

The wedding venue section of The Woodman Inn is actually located across the road from the main inn. Tucked into a beautiful woodland area next to a gentle stream, it surrounds you with nature’s embrace. Yet, simultaneously, it exudes an air of exclusivity—an intimate haven for celebrating love.

The Woodman Inn is undeniably a wedding venue I’d love to revisit!
