Holmfirth Vineyard Wedding

 

Danny and Laura picked a stunning wedding venue in such a beautiful part of Yorkshire, Last of the Summer wine county, Holmfirth…..In Yorkshire…I do add as they are both from Lancashire! (I won’t add the normal nonsense about Yorkshire being God’s own Country here though!!)

This wedding had it all, the dresses, suits, beautiful church and an amazing venue. All of this is set in the beautiful countryside of Yorkshire.

The day started with Myself and Dave (our second photographer) meeting the pair at the Holmfirth Vineyard accommodation, a beautiful modern building at the bottom of the vineyard’s estate. I loved shooting here, we had bags of space to use to get some amazing shots of both the Brides party and the Grooms party getting ready. The Groomsmen were on the ground floor and Team Bride was upstairs so there was no chance of them being able to capture a glimpse of each other in their finery.

The service was held at the Holy Family Church at nearby Slaithwaite. The Church was simple but idyllic with lots of natural light entering the church.

After the service, it was a short ride back to the venue, Holmfirth Vineyard, for more photography before the speeches and the Wedding Breakfast!
