Wakefield Town Hall is a stunning venue for weddings, and as a native of Wakefield and one of the leading wedding photographers in West Yorkshire, I have had the pleasure of capturing many beautiful weddings at this location.
Not only is the town hall itself a magnificent setting for a wedding, but the registrars at Wakefield Council are some of the nicest and most professional you will find. It is always a joy to return to Wakefield to photograph weddings and work with the exceptional staff at this venue.

Wakefield Town Hall is a beautiful location to get married, with two ceremony rooms available for your special day. The Lofthouse Suite can accommodate up to 45 guests, while Room One can hold up to 20 guests. Both rooms are located on the ground floor for easy access, and are decorated in a light and airy style that is perfect for wedding photography.

WHERE IS THE BEST PLACE TO PARK TO BE CLOSEST TO WAKEFIELD TOWN HALL?
If you are planning to get married at Wakefield Town Hall, there are a few options for parking that will get you close to the venue. One option is to park across the street from the town hall at the Old Police Station on Wood Street. Another option is to use the Rishworth Street Car Park, which is conveniently located near the town hall.
Regardless of which parking option you choose, it is important to arrive early to allow plenty of time to find a spot and make your way to the town hall. This will help ensure that you arrive at your ceremony on time and feel relaxed. Rishworth Street Car Park
