SHOOTING THE PAUL MIRFIN BAND LAUNCH PARTY
I first met Paul and the band when I was asked to step in for another photographer who was sick, the job brief was to cover a folk-rock band who were playing at Wetherby Arts Festival last year, this misfortune of the other photographer has to lead to me building a relationship with the band.
From meeting them for the Wetherby festival to shooting them in and around Knaresborough train station for promotion pictures and album artwork to now shooting the band at their album launch party for the album Ancient Roads here in Harrogate!
So it was really pleasing to see the band on at their album launch party play to a packed audience at Gino D’Acampo My Restaurant – Harrogate.
Over the next few days, the band are heading out to America! Playing The Joshuafest 2018 festival in California.
I HAVE to say the new album is brilliant, it does a really good job of capturing the energy and dynamic the band have when playing live. I would defiantly recommend checking it out!
