When your client jokes about “wouldn’t it be brilliant if it snowed on our wedding day….I just laughed…..but that’s what I remember Steven saying in our pre-wedding meeting! At the time it was a hot and sunny summer’s day. I thought to myself there is more chance of England winning the Euro Vision Song Contest that it actually snowing in March, after all, it was supposed to be springtime NOW!
What I didn’t count on was the dreaded Beast from the East covering the country in a beautiful but troublesome blanket of snow! But as they say, the show must go on and it did in a wonderful wintery fashion. This was a wedding I will always remember. Sarah, the beautiful bride, was so chilled out and handled the cold like a true Newcastle lass would do, she gritted her teeth and got on with it posing in the polar conditions and embracing the best day of her life with open arms. I have to give a big thank you to every one of your guests who were very pleasant while I was taking the stunning group shots outside and I have to say its one of the most memorable group-shots I have taken.
The venue was the stunning Waterton Hall, this venue is a treat to shoot at on any given day but with the beautiful blanket of snow covering the ground, it looked even more spectacular than normal!
So from me to you guys congratulations! Here are some teaser shots from your big day. Much love and happiness to you in the future. Nick xx
