BRADFORD CITY ENGAGEMENT SHOOT
I had the absolute pleasure of shooting my first ever Garba on Saturday and it was absolutely fantastic. Garba means dance and the ceremony is part of a week of events and parties to celebrate an Indian Wedding.
I knew before I’d even arrived that the event was going to be colourful and exciting and I couldn’t wait to arrive.
Before their guests arrived my couple wanted to get some staged shots, we had planned to shoot them in a park close to the venue in Bradford, however, as always, things don’t always go to plan and we ended up losing the last light of the day, so, my client, suggested we shoot the images in Town Square near the water fountains.
What an amazing idea! We ended up getting some fab shots around the water fountain and on the town hall steps.
It was so cold that night but my clients did an amazing job and we ended up getting some very cool shots in the bag.
Once the Garba was underway and the guests started to arrive they were in for a treat because every single part of the evening was planned with such intricate detail and you could see that my couple were surrounded by everyone they hoped could be there to celebrate this special day with them.
